IDEAL Connections is a program driven by fostering meaningful relationships with our customers and community. Our latest program was inspired by our founder’s long-standing company mission to create “IDEAL” relationships with the electrician community we’ve served for over 100 years.
In the midst of demanding work hours, we want to provide those considering or in the electrical field with events and opportunities that elevate their careers and connect them to a community they can lean on every step of the way.
Through a focused effort on empowering pre-apprenticeship programs, being a trusted partner for trade schools, building electricians’ skills, and championing contractor-run electrical businesses, IDEAL Connections aspires to leave a lasting impact on the industry – and the communities we live in.

ELECTRICAL Pre-Apprentice
We invest in the next generation of electricians by providing exposure to the industry, hands-on learning opportunities, and career development.
Our Commitment
In 2025, we will donate more than $200K to the following pre-apprenticeship and skills-building youth programs:
- Generator of Workplace Development and opportunity
- Philadelphia Skilled Trades Academy
- Support Ontario Youth/Tools in the Trade
- Junior Achievement
- Rebuilding Together
ELECTRICAL APPRENTICE
Our Trade School Experience brings aspiring electricians hands-on product demos, real-world training opportunities, complimentary product kits, and lab donations that enhance school training centers.
Our Commitment
- We’re hosting more than 150 events at trade schools across the US and Canada for students and locals in the electric trade.
- We’ve created four customized events designed to equip students at trade schools with an abundance of resources and opportunities to grow their skills.

- In 2025, we will donate product samples and student kits valued at $200K.
ELECTRICIAN
We champion electricians by helping them grow their skills by designing performance-enhancing products and offering expert-led training from our electrical professionals.
Our Commitment
- Our sales team will connect with electricians nationwide and provide them with unique opportunities for growth, and host industry events with a special guest appearance.
- In 2025, we will introduce Connections Reunion, a new in-person event and opportunity for established electricians to connect with our team and other electricians. This will include a community event with Rebuilding Together to positively impact the local community.
ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR
As a trusted partner to electrical contractors nationwide, IDEAL provides customized support, training, promotions, and resources to create a fulfilling career in the industry.
Our Commitment
- In 2025, we are launching an exclusive offer on bulk orders and a customized customer experience catered to electrical contractors.
- In partnership with Energize Us Edu., IDEAL Electrical will partner to train contractors at their annual Builder’s Convention.
- Our sales team will lead an end-user blitz reaching 350 contractors nationwide, complete with exclusive offers, branded merchandise, and more.
ELECTRICAL INFLUENCERS
IDEAL Electrical partners with influential voices in the electrical space to give back to local communities through in-person volunteer engagements.
Our Commitment
- In partnership with Rebuilding Together and our international electrical influencer community, we will give more than $150K back to Chicagoland, helping restore communities and keep people in their homes with expert, pro-bono labor.
